In 2001, Chukotka Agricultural Corporation PJSC undertook the reconstruction of the only Chukotka's «Severnaya» poultry farm, which had been inactive for several years. Eleven thousand laying hens were imported to Anadyr from Omsk. During 2002, 2 million 685 thousand eggs were laid.

- The factory takes the leading position in Russia in regards of egg-laying qualities (337 eggs by 1 hen);
- 4.5. million eggs were totally produced in the Okrug in 2005.
