Anadyr District Psychoneurological Boarding Home

The state "Anadyr Districts Psychoneurological Boarding Home" permanent institution of social support of the population houses 72 permanent residents. Average expenditure on the maintenance of one patient accounts for 1303 rubles a day, 1146 of which are provided by the district budget and 157 are drawn from non-budget sources.
Between 2001 and 2005, the Boarding Home bought nutrition unit and warehouse facilities, furniture for the canteen, living wards, library and recreation section, a procedure unit, elevators for the disabled, moving sinks, functional beds, video cameras, new toilet facilities, and a hairdresser's chair.

Disabled and the elderly of Chukotka in the social institutions of Omskaya Oblast

Under the agreement on "Cooperation of the Head Social Support Department of Omskaya Oblast and the Social Policy Department of the Chukotskiy Autonomous Okrug for Organization of Medical and Social Provision of Elderly Citizens and Disabled People in State Permanent Institutions," the citizens of Chukotka in need of permanent care have a chance of moving into the permanent medical aid centres of Omskaya Oblast.
In 2005, 9 elderly citizens of the Okrug and 2 disabled children used this chance. Expenses for their maintenance are paid for by the Okrug budget. In 2005, 8 million 099 thousand rubles were spent on that.
